I posted link to the schematics in my other post (on microcontroller) but here it is again: http://www.tonepad.com/getFile.asp?id=122 anyway, I just downloaded the simple echo program (that you answered to in the algorithm section) and I put in on all 8 possible eeprom addresses - on each and every ...

Great! Just downloaded it, and build it to one eprom - works like a charm! My first build of something that isn't in the rom - feels good :)

Thanks for the fast response frank! First of all - I do not plan to replace eeprom with micro, micro should only switch fv1 and show something on the lcd (which is the easiest part). I don't know what do you mean with open collector pins, I believe that if I run pic on 5V(as I usually do) than it wi...

delay not working

I build a stompbox before with fv-1 succesfully and it's permanent on my board and I even used it for all of my guitar stuff when I record (love the reverb!). For the people checking it out I say build it! for sound sample (reverb) check out my youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/BeToneful ...

bringing this thread to life:) I was thinking myself to try this, switch s0-s2 with pic microcontroller. haven't been able to find sufficient information on how to this, if there is anyone out there that has been succesful with this please throw some help. what I want to do is probably the obvious: ...

I finally fixed this. IT was a tough one but well worth it. A have to say that I'm impressed with this chip in several ways. First of all it's sound and second, after a week of abuse and heating, soldering, poking and what not I made it work without any problem! What I finally did is that I got piss...

Well, to be honest, I've suspected flux also, as I used flux to help me solder the chip. But I did clean the board really well afterward and before too. I can not see any residue on the PCB (under magnifying glass). Still a possible cause thou. I'll try to measure All the voltages as you said (becau...

yes, pitch is delayed a little bit hard to estimate how much, probably the reason why I never use it. basically all the other effects sound the same besides that they have some sort of a panner between dry and wet signal which makes the reverb sooo good

Good catch! thing is that Francisco missed that resistor in his schematics but there is one actually on the layout (that I etched with some modifications cap on X2 etc). I used 100 ohm and as you said any up tu 1k would work I changed it to 470 ohm just to try it, run it on battery, well first time ...

Thanks for the reply donstavely, does that mean that a battery should eliminate glitches? I was debugging for so long that I stopped using battery after a While to preserve it. Will try this when I come home from work. I don't think I'm allowed to post the schematics here but you (and everyone else)...

Well the reason how I know about this chip is actually when I opened one pedal that I bought some time ago and found it in it. The reverb is just too good. Nothing comes even close to my ears anyway. I do own Super reverb amp which is (along with the twin) considered as the reference reverb. Well it...

I have one commercial pedal that is designed around Fv-1, but it seems to be a little bit of secret sins no one mentions that, might be some sort of company policy or something, but if someone approves that this is free to discuss I'll tell you one :)

Hey guys, I've been sitting last night with the build and basically getting to know how to work with my new scope, and it's Great! I do understand know why everyone is recommending to have one because you can finally See whats going on and not just hear. Frank, first of all, I think the clicks and p...
