Spin Semiconductor

Hi,

I would like to write a Mac OS X SpinASM version (outputs hex/bin files).
A few questions that come to mind

- would this be ok/not ok with Spin Semiconductor?

- what is the .spn file-format precisely. Is it some UTF/Unicode format (and if so which one)?
