Question about EEPROM capacity

Hello,

Just got the FV-1 chip and planning a guitar pedal, only part left is the EEPROM and, on some old stuff that I have, I found a 24LC08B.

The one sugested is a 32K but can this 8K EEPROM work? Is it big enough?
