The DAC outputs are not designed to drive very much current so it is better to use a buffer with a high impedance which then drives the LED.

If 0.5 is the actual desired clip value and the value is in ACC then try something like:

sof -2.0,0
sof -0.5,0

No, nothing bad is happening to the chip in this case, it is just the clip circuit detecting the large values. If it bothers you just lower the max output to below clipping.

No chip is perfect for everything and unless you are doing very long delays a second per channel is a lot. Most delay effects (reverb, chorus, flanger, etc.) work with rather short delay times so 2 or ...

External CODEC, allows you to select the quality/cost trade off on a per product basis.

Then I would try solving for 1/Kf instead so solve r=x/(8*pi) then do the 1/r to get the result. Since 1/8*pi is a constant it becomes a multiply

So if the input X goes 0.05 to 1.0 and needs to give an output of 502 to 26 and it is linear then the equation:

527.05263 - X*501.05263

Should give a result between 502 and 26 for an input range ...

You need to check that your chip supports timer 2 and the associated registers and if it does then as the maker of the assembler why it is throwing errors. We can only help with the FV-1 its self.

It does not matter which assembler as long as it supports the proper 8052 variant. Check that you are assembling for the correct chip.

Why are you trying to build a dev board? Should be easier and cheaper to just buy one. If you build one it will not work with SpinAsm as you would need all the firmware to program up the devices. Best ...

Are you sure you are assembling for and using the correct 8052 variant? Those registers are used for timer 2.
