It doesn't really matter, you can put the FV-1 on the component layer if that is easier for production. As long as the crystal and caps are right next to the pins it should be OK. Series Effects

Is it possible to put both channels in series (on software or externally) to have two different effects in series?.

For example, in Left channel I have a chorus and in the Right channel a delay, making this effects chain:

Input -> Chorus (LC) - > Delay (RC) -> Output
