Successful Intergration of FV-1 into SS Amp with Foot Switch

Has anyone successfully intergrated the FV-1 chip / circuit into their SS State guitar amp with a foot switch?
I currently have a SS pre amp and amp board from Elliot Sound and would like some pointers on intergration.
