Guitar pedal bypass switch.

Post by Mcfly »

Hi! i'm working on a FV1 pedal, and trying to find out the best way to bypass the effect signal. I've used the opamp configuration showed in page 3:

What i do to bypass is to put a simple toggle switch between the TO MOD and the FV1 input. The problem is that i'm gettin a loud POP noise. I've tried with capacitor at the output of the opamp buffer and a 1M resistor to ground to drain the MID voltage, but it's the same. Any help? thank you!

Not sure I am really following what you are doing, please post or email a complete schematic of your circuit.
