Hey everyone

Super noob but trying to teach/learn this stuff.

Am I on the right track in thinking I can take a Micro controller and connect it to one of the digital pot pins and create tap tempo functionality with a delay code?

Has anyone done this? Any advice or if you can point me in the right direction much appreciated.

You'll have to generate a voltage on a Pot pin to control the delay time. There is a way to connect a switch to a pot input and count switch closures and generate the delay timing from this, which could give you tap tempo without needing an external micro.
