Reverb and...

Post by AndyF »

Hello, someone would be kind and explain to me how to achieve these two effects. For now, I do things with spincad, I know many don't like it, but I still lack the knowledge to be able to do it in another way.

I want to make a plate-type reverb and an echoplex-type delay, "no analog" tape style I'm looking for.
I suppose filters should be added at strategic points to achieve those audios?

I appreciate anyone who can guide me on this.

Those two things, using SpinCAD and wanting custom reverb/delays are basically mutually exclusive. Making a specific type of reverb requires more than a few filters. Emulating a specific delay means fine tuning filters, read/write points, and other details.

There are some plate reverbs available on the Spin site but you will have to take what is there, making any changes will require learning how to do DSP programming, the FV-1 assembly language, etc.
