Pink Noise Algorithm For FV-1

Post by HammerheadAudio »

Hi, I am working on a project building a custom test signal generator using the FV-1, I currently have it doing a variety of common waveforms, now looking into noise generation, specifically pink noise as that's a standard test signal in pro-audio environments. Just wanted to check whether or not this already existed before diving into to writing my own. If anyone could share an algorithm for doing this that would be great. Thanks!

There is a white noise pseudorandom generator code, but I don't recall any pink noise. Just search in the forum for pseudorandom

Maybe you can use white noise and filtering to get the pink noise...
