Accutron

Post by jrshedden »

Hi,

I'm new to the group and I'm finding the navigation a bit unusual. Please excuse me if I don't post correctly.

I was wondering if anyone has developed an interface to allow the development board to replace an Accutronics spring reverb in a vintage musical instrument amplifier. (Make sure it has a 3 wire ground!).

I had just purchased a development board and wondered how I would mix wet and dry signals. I have Fender amps available, and that may be the best solution.

Thanks in advance for any hints.

Best Regards,
Jim S.

Mixing wet and dry:

There is a spring reverb program in one of OCT's modules:

But the code is not available. I've had some vague thoughts on how to implement one, but haven't tried to code it. Basically you want to remove a lot of the niceness in a standard reverb program: you want to hear some kind of distinct repeats, and you want to have some resonance at one or more frequencies, which usually you try to write out of a reverb program.
