Dear Frank,
I would like to ask you about the chip design on POT inputs.
I run into a problem while wanted to use a pot for inputing time and using with a momentar switch to ground as tap Tempo at the same time. The tap was always out of time. When I tried to examin, I saw that by grounging the pot input the pot value needed quite a lot of time to change and go to zero, I guess there should be some serious LP filtering on Pot inputs. Am I right?
Kind regards
Pete
Filtering on POT input

Hi Pete,
Yes, there is filtering on the POT inputs to avoid any jitter. There has been discussion of this issue and there is a s/w way to increase the response of the POT inputs. See the thread http://www.spinsemi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=72
