Hi Frank !
I plan cramming 3 SKRM-C8 boards in a small 1590B Hammond box; since space is real tight, I'm wondering if it's O.K. to unsolder the 2-pin programming header (& probably quartz U102 as well) and reposition/resolder them on the 16-pin header side... any technical reasons I should not attempt this ? (well, other than a "SpinSemi does not recommand..."-type disclaimer, I guess)
TIA !
(ideally, it's the 16-pin header that should be moved to the component side for optimal "compactness", but I'm not going there unless you tell me it's actually safer...)
SKRM-C8 2-pin prog. header & quartz positioning...

Well, to start... OCT Distribution does not support modification of any modules or boards.
OK, now that the lawyer is made happy, there is no specific reason that I can think of that placing those components on the other side should cause a problem. Check for any thing that may short as a result.
