Any reason NOT to use RAMP LFO for multiple pitch shifts?

I realize that each pitch shift stage would need to have the same length buffer and pitch shift, but could I conceivably have 2 or 3 running at the same time? Not sure of the musical application or necessity, but just wondering...

While we're on the subject, I presume that a dedicated DOWN shift could use the shortest buffer length without any issues, and the selection of buffer lengths is primarily to allow some tradeoff for up-shifts depending on the material?

Thx!

Yeah, you could do that and run multiple stages like that.

Never really thought about the down using minimum length buffer, off the top of my head sounds reasonable.
