Crystal Oscillator Bandwidth

Post by jelynton »

So a 32.768kHz crystal gives a bandwidth of 15kHz, and a 48kHz oscillator extends to 20kHz. Would a 25.6kHz crystal give about 12kHz bandwidth?

Yes, bandwidth is about half the sample rate. Just filter the input to the desired bandwidth to avoid aliasing.
