FV-1 Insertion into an existing Distortion Module design

If I'd have known about the FV-1 a few months ago I'd have used it in this design http://www.freshnelly.com/showbox-fx.htm#distpic
and have the PIC controlling the FV-1 instead of the PIC handling the audio directly (and somewhat poorly with 8 bits)
Also / or the PT2399's could be replaced by an FV-1 which would be insane!
Perhaps the design will give some of you some ideas, it's pretty crazy, software configurable circuits, fast digital switching, but the samples tell all.
Also higher up on the same page there's the proposed FV-1 design for the FX section.
