the CLIP LED output

Hi guys! Question:

How does the CLIP LED output works?

is it an analog signal?

is it digital, if so at what point does it turn on relative to input audio/ DSP process/ internal ref. .....etc?

I'm planning to ADC this pin to create a bargraph.

Thanks!

From the datasheet
will flash for approximately 30mS if the internal ADC or the DAC are driven to within a few
tenths of a dB of full scale. Any overflow from internal processing that does not produce a near full scale output will not
light the clip LED.
The pin is digital so you really can't attach an ADC to it to create a bar graph.
