Fake Chip
is there any fake chip out there i buy some chip from AE with different marking, and its noisy...
Re: Fake Chip
I have never seen a fake chip but there are only 3 approved sellers of the chip (see http://www.spinsemi.com/distributors.html) so if you purchased from anyone else then it could be a fake or recovered chip.
Who is AE and how are the markings different?

Re: Fake Chip
That might be a real chip, I would have to look into the archives to check, but even if it is it is VERY old. The first 2 digits "08" in the date code are the year it was made so it was made in 2008, 10 years ago. Most likely it is a recovered chip, removed from a product and cleaned up to look new when it is really used.
