Spin Semiconductor

Forgive me if I've overlooked something in the spec sheet, but what exactly should I do with the MID pin in a new design? The Typical Application circuit in the spec sheet shows it connected to a 1uF cap whose other leg is connected to ground. The schematic for the development board shows a 10uF polarized cap instead. Is one preferable to another?

The value of the cap on the MID pin is not critical, 1uf or 10uf should work fine.
