new tiptop audio zdsp user :)

Hi,
just sayin hello. new to this whole dsp algorhythm world.
picked up a tiptop audio zdsp eurorack module and then landed here!

I have the tiptop audio NumberZ device and blank cards to burn fx programs using the sweet Spinasm application.
currently have all the available fx from the spin semiconductor free dsp programs burnt...

So, i'm curious if anyone can share the GreenWood Delay code for me to paste into the spinasm app

well, i'm excited to learn more about programming fx!

thanks so much drolo.

how did i miss that.

i actually received a zdsp card with the greenwood delay on it.
but you can't extract fx programs, only burn.

so this is extremely helpful

FYI I just found this, its a spin hex decompiler, if you can extract the hex from chips you could turn it back to spin asm code:

Keep in mind that extracting and disassembling code from commercial or copyrighted devices may be illegal and any posted code from such will be deleted and the user banned. Respect the work of others, if they choose to keep their code closed that is their right.

Good point, guess the world of opensource had me out of line.
Fwiw the context I found this was people who lost their original working file and had to find a way to get it back

I've used and supported a lot of open source so I understand, posted a lot of code over the years here for people to freely use.

There are legitimate uses to a decompiler like the example you mention, people lose their source and need to recreate it. I just want to be clear that we won't allow posting or linking to any commercial/closed code. I've seen it in other forums where people post hex files and we don't support those actions.

We all need to pay our bills so please respect the work of others.
